In the range of profile production, glass bonding is an innovation. aluplast has developed a system that makes glass bonding possible even in the window industry.

Advantages for the window maker:

no blocks for centering of the glass needed
automatic preprimering only at the sash
introduction of force over glazing rebate (minimal leverage)
curing time 90 seconds max. (clock cycle < 2 minutes)
big adherent surface ( 16 mm wide)

Advantages for the end customer:

optical characteristics (higher incidence of light to room)
better insulation (more than 15 %) in the profile (Uf = 1,1 w/m²K)
better sound insulation (glue acts as absorber)
higher protection by revolving glued joint (glass unit cannot be pushed out of the sash)
the stable and force-fit connection between glass unit and sash profile avoids…

- the bending of parts of the profile
- the lowering of the sash during the term of use
